A popular beer brewed since 1829 will become available in Ohio beginning in October. D.G. Yuengling & Son, America’s oldest brewery, announced the move Sept. 9, and its brand will now be available at Chalet Premier beginning Oct. 3, at 10000 Market St. in North Lima, operated by Boardman native Bill D’Amico, pictured at right. “This is such a popular brand,” D’Amico said this week, noting “people have been coming to our store for years asking for the Yuengling brand. No longer will they have to drive to western Pennsylvania to get it. We get asked for it nearly every day.” D’Amico’s store features over 500 selections of beer and more than 2000 wines.
