Barbara Valeria Krystek, was born on May 22, 1922 to John and Barbara Joseph in Greensburg, PA, in their home. She was a laboratory analyst for the Sheet and Tube during World War II. She has been married to Eugene Krystek since Aug. 3, 1946.
      She raised six children: Barbara Lorenzini of Boardman; Greg (Denise) Krystek of Milwaukee, WI; Pat Taylor of Columbiana; Mark (Kathy) Krystek of Atlanta, GA; Christine Roessler of Russell, PA; and Eugene (Luraina) Krystek of Hermitage, PA. and has played an important role in the lives of her 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
      Barbara takes great pride in her family and their accomplishments. She especially likes jigsaw puzzles, fashion and loved going on ‘bus’ trips. Shie is a pioneer of St. Christine Church. She continues as the matriarch of the Krystek clan.
